生活型

vine

形態特徵

  • Perennial tuberous vines; stems angular, slightly to densely pubescent, base somewhat woody.
  • Leaves ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 5–10 cm long, 4–7 cm wide, apex acute, base cordate, margin undulate, conspicuously nerved.
  • Flowers in axillary racemes, with the rachis terminating in forked tendrils; perianth segments 5, inner 2 smaller, white to red.
  • Achenes 1–1.5 cm long, strongly angled at tip.

分布

  • 世界 : Native to Mexico, widely cultivated and naturalized in lowlands.
